With this release, additional functionality in the Magnetize mobile app will help your team to record consumables as they work —  for easy and tidy record keeping on jobs, where all costs are accounted for.

In this release: 

• Log consumables by date
• Add one-off consumables 
• See who's logged what consumables, and when

Log consumables by date

Going forward, on any new jobs created in Magnetize, you’ll be prompted to log consumables by the date they were used on the job. Just click on the consumable's row to expand out the date picker, and add quantities used. 

You’ll also see who’s already logged units, so there’s less chance of accidentally logging double.

Add one-off consumables

If you need to pick something from the workshop or retail store to get the job done, you can now record this on the job as a new, one-off consumable. 

Just click "ADD NEW," give it a name and select the unit type. It’s a good idea to add a note and photo with it too (e.g. of the receipt), so it’s all saved on the Job Timeline.

See who's logged what consumables, and when 

For managers and administrators looking at the Logs tab, you’ll now get a full breakdown of who’s logged what consumables, and when — handy for larger jobs with multiple team members and spanning multiple days.
