Edit job details from the mobile app
We recently launched a major feature where staff, with permissions settings to do so, can log jobs anywhere, any time from the Magnetize mobile app.
Following on from this, you’ll now see a little pencil “edit” icon in the job details header section. Click on this to go back and edit the job title, description, contact and address information.
Add notes and photos with time logs
We’re committed to continuously improving magnetize based on feedback from users. Some feedback we’ve had is that staff need to be able to record notes about the work they’ve done and upload a few photos, alongside their time logs. So, we’ve expanded the time logger screen in the mobile app to include notes and photos.
Back at the computer, these notes and photos will display in the job > logs tab.
Add notes and photos with equipment logs
Staff can now also record notes and photos for equipment logs, capturing key information about how the equipment was used on the job and the condition of it.
All of these records will stay in one place under the job logs tab, under the equipment.
Staff can see their total hours worked in a given pay cycle
On the My time screen, Staff can see the total number of hours they’ve work in a pay cycle. By default this will display as one week.
Set the pay cycle for staff
Over in the organisations settings > job settings, you can now set your pay cycle.
This can be set as: 1 week, 2 week or monthly. And the setting is smart enough to enable you to select a mid-week or mid-month start date (e.g. 20th of the month).
