This latest release is good news for adminstrators! Save time by adding notes (unpriced items) in the ratebook to use across quotes, invoices and bundles. And finally tidy up spelling errors and duplicates across equipment types, ratebook categories, and staff teams.

Ratebook notes (unpriced items) for use in quotes, invoices and bundles

Do you have a line or paragraph of text that must be included in all quotes or invoices for specific jobs or clients? We understand how important it is in your industry to ensure quotes are sent promptly, and accurately in alignment with contractual obligations.

Now, instead of typing out the same line of text with every quote, now you can add it once in the ratebook, as a note.

Notes that are added in the ratebook will appear in the ratebook list when you're building a quote, invoice or even a bundle. No need to copy and paste paragraphs of text every time!

Deleting equipment types, ratebook categories, and staff teams

We get it. As an administrator, you want keep tidy records for your company, so that the database is professional and up-to-date. You want to ensure the options available for equipment types, ratebook categories, and staff teams are spelt and formatted correctly, with no duplicates - and to be able to edit/delete any that aren’t.

As per request, we’ve updated the code powering equipment types, ratebook categories, and staff teams so you can delete those not in use. Where this is possible, you'll see a little trash can icon in the dropdown list. Click this and the item will be gone.

Job rescheduling enhancements

We had some feedback from scheduling managers that sometimes it felt too easy in Magnetize to reschedule a job when there are resources assigned. Upon review, we found a few subtle ways to improve the experience without compromising speed-of-work to reschedule a job.

On the scheduling calendar now, You'll notice:

  • A new confirmation message - to confirm the schedule change for staff and equipment assigned
  • A new green hover - so you can better see which job you're picking up and moving
  • That the scheduling pop over stays open after changing the dates - so you can take a look at the new assigned dates for staff and equipment

Live Geo report - Better PDF sizes

For Live Geo reports, we found the file size of job images were impacting the size of the PDF report. Our developers have worked their magic to optimise how job images are added the PDF report, reducing file size by 50% so that it can still be download, shared and stored easily.
