Magnetize customers with the Live Geo TM power up activated, can now activate a specialist geological layer view on the Map: Macrostrat.

About Macrostrat

Macrostrat is the world's largest homogenized geological map database, enabling geological data exploration and analysis. We’ve integrated Macrostrat into Magnetize, so you can get instant visibility of geological information, right where your jobs are, and all around the world.

Switching on Macrostrat

On the Magnetize job map, Live Geo customers will now see a Macrostrat image tile in the bottom left corner. Clicking on this will instantly turn on/off the Macrostrat layer on the map.

Once Macrostrat view is activated, click anywhere on the map to see the known soil type, soil strata, description, lines and depth and more.
