In this release:

Set a job as recurring

From the job options dropdown, you’ll see a new option to “Make recurring.” Here you can set the start date for the first job in the series to be scheduled, and the frequency you need it to be scheduled. 

Set an end date if you want, and any other scheduling information, and you’re done! 

It’s now set as recurring, and jobs will be automatically created and scheduled in Magnetize.

Automatically schedule the recurring job with your people and equipment assigned

If there are people and/or equipment you would like to always be assigned to the jobs in this series, you can add them when you set the job as recurring. 

You can always change resources assigned later - both for a specific job instance, or for all future jobs in the series.

Set an end date (optional)

By default, Magnetize will automatically create and schedule jobs in a recurring series for you.  You can set this to happen 1, 2, 3 or 6 months in advance - how ever far ahead your business like to plan ahead.

However, if there’s an agreed end date with the customer (for example, at the end of a contract term), you can set this end date here.

Edit a specific job, or all of them in the series

Steve on leave on Friday? Equipment out for service? Public holiday on Monday? No worries, you can still edit the schedule for a specific job. And even if the recurring job series is edited (for example, it’s changed to weekly on a Wednesday), these job-specific schedule changes won’t be disrupted.

Cancel a recurring job

When you're ready for the recurring job to end, simply click on the option to "End recurring." All schedules of that recurring job following will be cancelled, and archived.
