You can now add profile photos for staff and equipment. There’s a few more handy settings we’ve added in the staff profile settings too. It’s worth a look to update these for your team.

Now in the profile settings you can:

Add profile photos for staff and equipment

We’re excited to announce that in this release, you can now upload profile photos in Magnetize for both staff and equipment.

Profile photos will display in the scheduling calendar, job timeline and mobile app, so it's easier to recognize team and equipment throughout the web and mobile app.

For a little personal touch for clients, your profile photo will be displayed alongside quotes you create - just as it does with email. We hope this helps to personalise the experience for your clients.

Profile photos uploaded for should be either .jpg or .png format.

Designate a reporting manger for each team member

When editing a team member’s profile settings, you’ll now see an option to assign a reporting manager. 

This will be useful, not only for your records, but for additional features we have planned to add to Magnetize this year, including the optional workflow for managers to approve time logs, and for alerts when staff create jobs from the mobile app (if they are given permission to do so).

Resend a new user’s invite email

Have you ever sent a new staff member’s invitation to Magnetize, and they’ve lost it? Or maybe forgotten about it? Now, in the staff settings, you’ll see an option to resent the invite email.

If you realised there’s been a mistake in the email address typed, no worries - you can now edit it, click save, and a new email with a link to log in will automatically send to the correct email address. 

Give permission for staff to create jobs in Magnetize - mobile updates coming soon

Very soon we’ll be releasing functionality for users with staff-level permissions to create new jobs in Magnetize from the mobile app.

This permissions toggle in the staff profile settings will give you full control over which staff members will be to log new jobs in Magnetize for your organisation.
