Staff jobs (Feb 2024)

In this release, users with staff-level permissions will be able to log new jobs in Magnetize, anytime, anywhere, from the Magnetize mobile app. They'll be able to record basic details about the job and get it underway, so they can immediately start logging their time, equipment, consumables and more.

When a new job is created by staff in the mobile app, it'll show as "new" in the scheduling calendar and jobs list. The staff user's assigned manager will also get an automatic email notification, alerting them of the new job, so any administrative-tasks related to client relationship, consumables stock or scheduling matters can be taken care of.

Staff job permissions is a feature that businesses have been asking for, so we're excited to be working on this one, and hope it will help accelerate business for you.

Set cost price and margin for rates

Businesses will be able to specify cost price and margin on individual rates to enable reporting on profit/loss for a job.

Time log approval

In this release, Magnetize full access users will be able to mark time logs as approved and leave a note - either in bulk or individually.
