Live Geo Customer Portal - Aug 2026
Release Notes - Jul 2026
This is a big one. Geotechnical and drilling businesses with the Magnetize Live Geo™ power up, can now give their customers visibility of [not just a single drilling report page] but all drill logs ever, with your business.
Scott, Director @Magnetize
First we built a single Live Geo report page for your customers to view drill logs for a job in live time. Then, we built “auto-send” so your customers can be notified from the moment the team breaks ground.
Now, we’re proud to announce that, with Live Geo, your customers (with viewing permissions enabled) can access a purpose-built Live Geo Customer Portal for records of all their jobs, BHs and CPTs with you, ever.
It is being launched alongside some upgrades to the ‘Customer’ screen in Magnetize, so that you can more easily control which contacts get access permission.
In this release:
- Live Geo Customer Portal, with map view
- Portal access settings
- Upgrades for managing customer contacts
Live Geo Customer Portal, with map view
For geo-technical businesses with the Magnetize Live Geo Power Up enabled, from today, the Live Geo portal will now be turned on for all your customers.
They will be able to access it, by clicking on a new Login to Live Geo button which will appear at the top of their Live Geo report page.

Access for your customer
It’s super simple, secure, and no pesky passwords are required. The login button will ask your customer to confirm their company email address and, if it matches to a customer contact on that account in Magnetize, a 6-digit authentication code will be sent to their email.
Once they’re in, your customer will get instant visibility of all geotechnical logs and reports, ever with your business:

Map view
Switching over to the map view, your customer can search for current and historic jobs, BHs and CPTs, to view records of their geotechnical and drill logs.

Live Geo report download
Finally, your customer can switch back to the classic report style, where they can download the report PDF.

Portal access settings
From today, access to the Live Geo client portal will be activated on all Live Geo reports. However, if you wish to turn it off/on for a specific customer, you can do this by the toggle on their customer account settings.
Upgrades for managing customer contacts
The customer screen is now full screen. Check out the “contacts” tab to view, add, edit or delete contacts, and set individual access permissions for the Live Geo portal.

Full access - Means your customer contact can click on the “Login to Live Geo” link and a 6-digit access code will be generated for them to access all drill logs ever for current and historic jobs with your company.
Limited - Means your customer contact can see only the drill reports you send them, including those by auto-send, if they are a contact on that job.
By default, when the Live Geo portal is turned on for a client, all contacts will gain full access — unless you specify otherwise by editing their profile.
