Connect to your Xero Account
In Magnetize, go to the Org Settings and click on the Integrations tab.
Click on the Connect to Xero button.
Steps:
- Click on Connect to Xero
- Login to your Xero account
- Select the Xero organisation and authorise the integration
- Match Magnetize to the correct sales account(s) in Xero
- Click save - and you're all set!
FAQs
What do you mean by account mapping?
You need to map ratebook item types (i.e. labour, equipment, consumables and fixed costs) to the correct sales accounts in Xero, so that invoice items can be reconciled correctly in Xero.
What am I agreeing to authorise?
Connecting Magnetize to your Xero account, you're agreeing to the transfer of relevant data between Xero and Magnetize, in accordance with both product’s own Terms of Use and Privacy Policies. Without this, Magnetize won’t be able to send invoices to Xero.
How do I send an invoice to Xero
Once you're connected to Xero, simply go to the Invoice tab in the job, add/edit the line items and then click Send to Xero.
