When designing Magnetize, we worked hard to make scheduling equipment easier than ever before.
See equipment availability
On the scheduling calendar, use the Resource View tab to see jobs your team and equipment are scheduled on.
Book equipment on job
There are two easy ways to schedule a job in Magnetize, and you can book equipment either way:
1. On the scheduling calendar
From the schedule job tool, select the job you want to schedule, add the equipment and click save. It's really that simple!
2. In the job
Over in the job, go to the scheduling tab, select the dates and add the equipment you want to schedule.
Letting staff know
Once equipment is booked on a job, staff will automatically see this information in the mobile app. On the job details screen, they'll scroll down to the Scheduled dates, where people and equipment scheduled are displayed for each day.
This is where they can also log equipment hours, or other equipment they've used (not scheduled) for each day on the job.
Related tip!
Booking equipment out of action
If your equipment is going for a WOF, service or another non-job related reason, you can book them out in the scheduling calendar by clicking on the equipment out option in the scheduling tool. Too easy!
When you book equipment in this way, you'll notice over in the Month view that the calendar is smart enough to recognise their is one less item of equipment available on this day.
